Baby Wants Candy

Described as "The Best Improv Show in Chicago" by Chicago Magazine, Baby Wants Candy has performed over 1,200 different and completely improvised musicals. The first title provided by the audience becomes the basis for an original, entirely improvised 60 minute one-act musical.

MADtv's Nicole Parker

Founded in 1997, Baby Wants Candy has performed completely improvised musicals to sold-out audiences from Singapore to Edinburgh. Along with the immensely popular Chicago rock opera, Baby has unveiled the opening of Baby LA and Baby Wants Candy, NYC. Currently, Baby is enjoying an open-ended run at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles and at The Cutting Room in New York City.

US Comedy Arts Festival's Becky Drysdale

Baby Wants Candy has featured performers Stephanie Weir and Nicole Parker (MADtv), Rachel Dratch (Saturday Night Live) and Seth Meyers (Saturday Night Live) and Garry W. Tallent (Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band) to name a few. Baby was Awarded "Ensemble of the Year" at the acclaimed Chicago Improv Festival, and "Best Visiting Comedy Show” by Time Out New York magazine.
