We are 7 folks trained in the fine art of Make-Em-Up theater (some call it Im-prov-i-sa-tion). We all got southern blood runnin' through our veins, so we like to spin yarns about all things from down yonder. And what is a Make-Em-Up Pageant without a little slide guitar, banjo, harmonica and fiddle? We sing a little, dance when we’re moved to, and do our best to make you smile.
Lurlene was born at bang Comedy Theatre in Hollywood, California about five years ago. Each member of the cast has these things in common: a love of long-form Improvisation, family roots in the South and a need to bring people a rip-roarin’ good time! Most play an instrument or two, and half the cast is kin! Truly.
It’s improvisation served "Southern Style".
