Transactors Improv Co., based in Chapel Hill, N.C., is the South’s oldest active improvisational theater. Since 1983 the company has entertained and enlightened hundreds of thousands of people in theaters, festivals, colleges, and schools across much of North America. Transactors’ motto is: If you laugh we’re doing comedy; if you don’t we’re doing drama.

At CIF, Transactors will present Memory, a long form examining how and why we recall people, relationships, events, and things. This improvised piece also features time travel by characters via their memories.
